Listen! and please do not repeat yourself or what I am saying written by a guest,
August 18, 2008
A co-worker has a horrible time listening to WHAT people are saying to her. Everytime someone talks to her they end up having to repeat themselves at least 3 times. Its not a matter of hearing - its a matter of LISTENING. I'd say " Mikes wearing a purple shirt" and she'd say back: "john is wearing a purple" Then "no Mike is wearing a purple shirt" then she says "Mike bought a purple shirt?" Is she dumb or something???
On top of that when you're having a normal talk with her the conversation goes in loops. For instance you tell her something that happened to you over the weekend and she says "did you hear about that guy..." you exchange a few comments back and forth and then all of the sudden she says the same damn thing again! "did you hear about that guy..."

Wouldn't be the day a little friendlier if everybody that enters the office would say "hello" or good morning" before vanishing into her cubicle?

Stop acting like a 4 year old written by a guest,
August 21, 2008
A colleague just can't get over the fact that we left school ages ago... she keeps on back stabbing, being fake, gossiping but when she needs something she's lovely dovely. When you tell her she should work a little harder for the presentation the next day as she hasn't done anything she just snaps back. Because she doesn't even know HOW to do a presentation... writing everything down, learning everything by heart and then just reading it out loud is not a presentation... I don't care if that's what you did in dramaschool, this is a professional environment...

Office Personal Etiquette written by a guest,

What do you say to a person who continually sneezes all over everything without a tissue or covering his/her mouth? Sometimes I say "Tissue' but that just sounds like "Bless You" and gets me nowhere! UGH!

Stop editorializing written by a guest,
August 21, 2008
It is not necessary to repeat back for the whole group every comment that is made, adding your own perspective as a leader. This can give people the impression that unless you say it, it is not important.
Bathroom Etiquette written by a guest,
September 16, 2008
Please add a message about using cell phones in the restroom. Monopolizing one hand with a phone prevents accurate aim. Co-workers urine on your shoes, anyone? Plus, no hand washing. And we all know what the hand pulling open the door has been doing. To top it off, this fellow will then reach into what was once a shared bag of pretzels.

DISGUSTING written by a guest,
October 01, 2008
I work with a woman who has got to be the LOUDEST eater - chomping her food like cow cud and making gummy worms sound rocks between her teeth. Let's not forget that she also pa*ses gas through both ends thinking that if she's not looking at someone than it's not heard. How do you seriously tell a human they're just GROSS and quite revolting?!!

Having long breaks written by a guest,
December 13, 2008
How to deal with a group of people having long breakfast/lunch/afternoon breaks in the eatery? On top of it all, they are the late for work too.
Why is my boss not dealing with it..? It is really demoralising to see them having long breaks while the rest of us are working...

stop being a 19th century catholic nun written by a guest,
January 17, 2009
I just started a new job and there is this guy who does nothing but:
1. Complain that he can never get laid, hey maybe you could if you weren't so *** annoying. 2. Make sexual references out of everything 3. Complain that he's been here for 2 years without a raise or promotion... maybe jokes about erections don't fly. 4. When not doing that he snaps his fingers or blabbles about how wasted he is going to get. 5. Makes racist remarks
Should I just punch this guy in the face?

I would like to see a note that reads something to the effect of:
"you should give people appropriate time to read your e-mails before you visit office asking them if they read your e-mail."
What is the point of typing out an e-mail if you're just going to get up and go over to that person's office to talk about it just after you hit send?
